Here is another great recipe I had to share with you. I am obsessed with Banana Bread and so it my husband, and I am also obsessed with LOTUS COOKIE BUTTER!
If you don’t know what that is yet, I strongly suggest you become familiar because I am telling you, it is the best thing ever!!
I recently posted how to make a Nutella Banana Bread. This is the exact same recipe, except instead of Nutella, we are using Lotus Cookie Butter.
There are lots of different types of cookie butters however I love Lotus because it has a caramel taste to it. Other cookie butters are delicious, but taste more like ginger. So it depends on your preference!
This Lotus Cookie Butter Recipe Idea can be made with any type of spread really. You can use Peanut Butter, Nutella, Dulce De Leche (another one of my faves) etc.
1/2 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs, beaten
6 ripe bananas, mushed
1 1/2 cup plus 3 tbsp cake flour (or 1 1/2 cup flour)
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup LOTUS COOKIE BUTTER
Cream together butter and sugar
Add eggs and banana
Sift flour, soda and salt
Add to banana mixture
Melt your Lotus Cookie Butter in the microwave for about 20 seconds to make it easy to spread.
Pour half of your banana bread mix into a prepared greased (I like to use cooking spray).
Add all your Lotus Cookie Butter on top of the banana bread mix spread it out.
Add the other half of your banana bread mix on top.
Spread your banana bread mix evenly on top of the Lotus Cookie Butter layer, to create your final top layer. Swirl the mix around with a knife.
